The first Monday of July

During the flag-raising ceremony,the MDRRMO staff, Ms. Anjanette De Jesus, announced that we are celebrating National Disaster Resilience Month with a theme, “BIDAng Pilipino: Building a Stronger Filipino Well-Being towards Disaster Resilience”, and she also mentioned various activities for the whole month, such as the Tree Planting Program.

Right after the morning ceremony led by the Department of Agriculture, everyone went back to their offices to start working, while Mayor Datu went straight to the people asking for help, either financial or medical, especially those who undergo Chemotherapy and Dialysis.

Afterwards, Mayor Eduardo Diman Datu provided wheelchairs, nebulizers, crutches, and walkers to the Bacoloreos who really needed them.

Always remember, just like Germany Kent said, “Kindness is universal. Sometimes being kind allows others to see the goodness in humanity through you. Always be kinder than necessary”.
